Hannah Desmond,LMBT, is dedicated to bringing her clients relief from stress, tension, physical and emotional pain.Using a variety of time honored healing modalities, she creates individualized treatments,assisting each client on the path to balance in mind,body and spirit.

Hannah incorporates: Therapeutic Massage for pain and stress relief; Reiki,a passive touch therapy, bringing deep relaxation and assistance in physical, emotional and spiritual healing; Hypnosis, a journey into a deeply relaxed and focused state, where gentle suggestions for positive change are easily received; Gestalt Therapy techniques which focus on gaining an awareness of emotions and behaviors in the present to bring self understanding and the healing of emotional distress.

To assist her clients in deep healing, Hannah offers combined sessions which includes a hypnotic meditation to deepen openess to healing before beginning massage or Reiki sessions.

Hannah is dedicated to assisting her clients on the path to their greatest healing and highest good. Her premiere therapies incorporate a variety of healing techniques and are both interactive and highly effective..

Hannah also provides unique wedding ceremonies, home and business blessings, dedication ceremonies, healing rituals and workshops.

Heart Light Healing Studio hosts visiting healers, shamans and light workers who offer intimate workshops and ceremonies in our space. The treatment room is also available for rent by the hour or by the day, for those in need of a work space.

Hannah's life has been dedicated to the healing arts for many years. In 1996 she opened the Healing Room in New Orleans In 2007 she opened HeartLight Healing Studio in Asheville NC. For over a decade, she has facilitated workshops, women's groups, guided meditations, weddings, handfasting and committment ceremonies throughout the country. Pursuing her interest in Shamanism, Hannah has developed a healing practice dedicated to transformational healing. Using a variety of tools, she assists her clients on their journey to wholeness. MASSAGE THERAPIST: Hannah Desmond, LMBT NC7138

Hannah is a nationally certified, licensed massage and bodywork therapist with a deep understanding of the mind, body, spirit connection. She began her study of massage at the Esalen Institute in California in the early 70's and received her degree in massage and bodywork therapy from Blue Cliff College of Massage in New Orleans.

REIKI MASTER: In 2000 she received her attunement as a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui lineage. In 2008 she was a attuned as a Karuna Reiki Master. Karuna Reiki is called "compassion in action" and is a powerful addition to her Reiki practice.

HYPNOSIS: Hannah received her hypnosis certification in 1992. Her focus is on transpersonal hypnosis, assisting her clients in awakening to a higher consciousness, contacting their spirit guides and finding the true path to their highest good and greatest evolution.

GESTALT THERAPIST: In 1993 She completed her studies in Gestalt therapy and Neurolinguistic programing at the Gestalt Institute of New Orleans.

MINISTER: Upon her completion of studies in Divinity at St. John's College, Hannah was ordained a non-denominational minister. She performs wedding ceremonies, home and business blessings, dedication ceremonies and healing rituals as part of her ministry.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE: A blend of intuitive therapeutic techniques, combining both firm and gentle touch, to assist in the easing of tension, tightness, pain and restricted range of motion. Aromatherapy and gentle stretches enable the client to achieve a deep state of relaxation.

HOT STONE MASSAGE. Heated Oceanic Basalt stones are used to profoundly increase circulation, melt tension in muscles, quite the nerves and balance energy. As the warm stones in the therapists hands melt tension, you experience relaxation and healing of body, mind and spirit:

HYPNOSIS SESSIONS: Achieve deep focused relaxation as you are guided on a journey to personal freedom, contact with spirit guides and ancestors, spiritual awakening and the pathway to your greatest good and highest evolution.

REIKI SESSION: Experience Universal healing energy pouring through your physical, mental and emotional bodies through gentle touch. This passive touch therapy increases the energy flow, balancing mind body and spirit. Gentle and relaxing, it increases awareness of the subtle energy of the body.

One hour $65.

EAR CANDLING: Beeswax ear candles clear the physical ears followed by a face,head, neck and shoulder massage to ease sinus pain and release stress.

PREMIERE THERAPIES

TRANSFORMATIONAL TREATMENT..Two hours of bliss. $120. (please see the full description below).

HYPNOTHERAPEUTIC MASSAGE: Hypnosis and massage to assist in the healing of long held blocks in the body. $120. (please see description below)

REIKI/HYPNOSIS: Hannah Incorporates hypnosis to bring clients into a state of deep relaxation and receptivity to healing. A Reiki session follows using Karuna Reiki. $100. See full description below.

TRANSFORMATIONAL TREATMENT: This two hour session incorporates hot stone massage, essential oils, energy work, toning and guided meditation. Gemstones/crystals, Reiki, Polarity Therapy and essential oils, for calming, balancing and deep emotional and physical healing are an integral part of this treatmet. A guided journey through the energy centers of the body, completes the transformational experience and brings about peace and deep healing. 2 hours$120.

HYPNO-THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE: Combines massage and hypnosis. While in a state of deeply focused relaxation clients gain access to new awareness of their energy; where it is moving and where it is stagnant in the body. With Hannah's gentle assistance, clients gain access to their subconsicous and to the higher mind. From a safe, protected space the release of burdens begins. While a client is deeply relaxed and open to healing, Hannah uses massage techniques to assist in the letting go of long held chronic muscle tension, allowing energy to flow as healing is carried throughout the body. Personalized suggestions for positive shifts in consciousness are given. Messages from spirit guides and ancestors are often part of this 2 hour session: $120.

REIKI/HYPNOSIS: This session begins with a gentle hypnotic induction and suggestions to bring the client into a state of deep relaxation and receptivity to healing. Karuna Reiki energy, which is divine love and light, is gently channeled to the organs, joints and energy centers of the body. The entire aura is filled with healing energy. Reiki symbols, hand positions, chants and toning are incorporated during the session to allow old blocks to dissolve and bring about balance. Combining these two modalities creates incredible relief and healing. Two hour session - $100.
